THE HUB – WHAT’S INSIDE?

Norton Hub poster

As Young Advocates, we have been working together with Norton Canes Library since July 2012 to improve facilities for young people and encourage the use of the local library.

With the support of Youth Worker, Adam Purnell, and Cannock District Libraries Manager, Karen Yeomans, we are launching THE HUB, a free drop-in session for young people aged 11-16. Inside the Hub you can ask questions and get help with homework and revision, and take part in other activities and events.

Adam will also be on hand to answer any questions regarding youth issues and to inform you of opportunities for young people within the local area.

The Hub is open every Thursday from 16th January, between 3.30 and 5.30pm.

On 16th January we will be using the i-pads and exploring the latest free apps, and there will be free refreshments.

You can join the library for free, and this includes free internet browsing (with parental permission). Please complete the letter and Internet Registration Form if you do not already have a PIN number, and bring it with you on Thursday. This letter will be sent out beginning of this week in time for Thursday’s event.

Come along and see what your library and the Hub have to offer, we look forward to meeting you.

Kind Regards,

Brad, Emelia and Emily, Norton Canes Young Advocates.
