Pupils have raised £400 so far for St Giles Hospice. Students sold pens, cakes and bracelets and held a concert (Norton Noel) in aid of the charity. St Giles was selected by representatives of the School Council.
Aaron from St Giles visited the school today, 18th March, to receive the cheque for the interim amount. More fundraising events are planned for the second half of the year.
The money will be used to provide medical and nursing care for people living with cancer and other serious illnesses, as well as offering support for their families and helpers.
