Millie and Charlie display at Crufts

Millie Edwards in Year 8 and her Cocker Spaniel CHARLIE were invited to display their obedience skills at CRUFTS 2014 in Birmingham (6th and 8th March).

Millie was selected by the Kennel Club to demonstrate in the Silver Award display for the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme.

The Silver Award  builds on the skills of the Bronze Award and introduces new skills such as controlled greeting, road walk and vehicle control exercises which are important in everyday life situations. It aims to provide handlers with a good knowledge of understanding and training their canine companion.

Charlie will be coming into school in May to meet students in assembly, and it is hoped that Millie will be able to demonstrate some of the skills she performed at CRUFTS.
