Higher education

Following their level 3 studies in sixth form, many of our students progress to become an undergraduate, studying courses at universities throughout the country.  This study can lead to a qualification such as the following:

Foundation degree at NQF level 5

Diploma or bachelor’s degree at NQF level 6

Master’s degree at NQF level 7

A master’s degree is traditionally studied as a postgraduate course.  i.e. after you’ve graduated with a bachelor’s degree, however some courses allow students to embark on a Master’s programme straight out of sixth form provided that the student has suitable grades.

All applications to university are made through the university and colleges admission service UCAS
